The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way the world does business, MULLET included. During the quarantine we reassessed our services, our protocols, and the safety of our employees and customers. Like many companies, we immediately began brainstorming how to conduct business amidst a pandemic. At MULLET, we’ve always considered cleaning and disinfecting a high priority. In fact, our commitment to cleanliness is part of our culture and a key component of our maintenance program. After the quarantine we added extra sanitizing steps based on Covid-19 training and industry protocols. In May of 2020 we went back to working on set and began evolving with the rest of the industry, then adjusted to meet the standards set by the Unions and governing Associations. In the beginning, working in pandemic conditions was uncharted territory, by the end of 2020 after 70+ pandemic jobs, it just felt natural. Today in 2021 it’s simply part of how we conduct business.
CLEAN
Mullet has always taken pride in the cleanliness of the vehicles and equipment we bring or manage on set. It has been our practice to deep clean and sanitize our vehicles and equipment before every job.
Our cleaning protocol includes:
DURING SHOOT DAY: Opportunistically maintained, cleaned, and disinfected.
END OF SHOOT DAY: Full clean, including interior fogging, and disinfection of high touch surfaces.
END OF PROJECT: Complete deep cleaning, disinfection, and detail by dedicated cleaning crew.
SANITIZE
What does it mean to sanitize? Mullet believes it requires the knowledge and training to use the right product in the right place at the right time. We have invested in equipment, products and training to make any environment on a project as safe and healthy as possible.
Using a misting gun or fogger incorrectly or with the incorrect chemical mix is ineffective and can potentially damage equipment, wardrobe, or property.
We believe if sanitizing is worth doing, it’s worth doing right. We have electrostatic misting guns, foggers, air purifiers, cleaning products, and the training and knowledge to do the job correctly.
PROTECT
During the quarantine we invested in Covid specific upgrades to equipment and Motorhome’s, built new restroom trailers that have heated hand wash stations accessible from the outside, and added PPE to our offerings.
Needless to say, we’ve got you covered… your face, hands, and surfaces, too. Today we offer a wide range of PPE and sanitation solutions to help keep you safe and healthy on set.
